Legal Information Services (LIS) is closed.

The Legal Information Services has been providing legal information to the Concordia community for more than 25 years. As of June 1st, 2009, it has ceased its activities. The LIS had been funded through student fees granted every three years by the Concordia Council on Student Life (CCSL), a parity board made of students, faculty and staff. Following lengthy discussions, it was decided at the CCSL meeting of March 6, 2009 and its subsequent meeting on the impact of the freeze of the Student Services and Recreation and Athletics fees, that in order to maintain the student fee at the same rate for the next three year, and in a spirit of rationalization of resources, that the LIS would no longer offer its services.
